As a UX Developer, I coordinated the design and functional processes for an industry-disrupting, AI-powered product aimed at revolutionizing the clothing industry. I played a key role in developing a web and mobile app solution that enabled the creation, design, and manufacturing of fully digital garments. In this startup environment, we faced the challenge of digitizing garment creation and integrating real-time 3D modeling through an AI system. I was responsible for designing a customer relationship management system and a cloud-based application. Throughout the project, I worked closely with the CEO and product managers to challenge existing business models, reimagining assumptions and driving innovation during the wireframing and prototyping phases. The main screens we applied the application to included mobile devices, tablets desktops and kiosks.
The stake holder set the user requirements tone. We set up various meetings to define the objectives centered around designing an industry disruptive 3D clothing digital twins product.
ClothingTech employed various industry experts to develop the mental models associated with the industry. Extracting information pertaining to garment creation was crucial.
We engaged in weekly meeting to ensure that the needs of major clothing brands were met in the development of the application.
User Pathways: Creating a GDT (Garment Digital Twin)
Initial strategy included the development of User Pathways from which user experience models were developed. I meticulously researched and visualized every process in digital diagrams.
I designed all iterations of the stage and modular tools including project 'Dark Obsidian'.
With ClothingTech users are able to create, manipulate and export Garment Digital Twins among other things.
ClothingTech 2.0 Alert Modals
I designed all iterations of the stage and modular tools including project 'Dark Obsidian', and B2B web site.
With ClothingTech users are able to view avatars with a simple and uncomplicated screen utilizing modular drawers.
I developed a clean ad industry specific website which was aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.
The Virtual Fitting Room was a process whereby the user could create an avatar and fit multiple garments and ensembles.
I developed the clothing tech B2B site where clients could interface with the application, download and create accounts.
I developed the virtual fitting room where users could create avatars and dress them in the latest fashions.
These designs represented taking the Virtual Fitting Room process mobile and using it in conjunction with an in-store scanner to crate a 3D avatar using AI bases software to build body models.
We also translated the Virtual Fitting Room to an iOS app, as well as Android.
We added a feature to export and share avatars with the updated fashions.
We added a feature to export and share avatars with the updated fashions.
These designs represented taking the Virtual Fitting Room kiosk that would inform, the user and walk them trough the steps to create an avatar.
Users can create an avatar to customize with their favorite garments. A series of cameras in the fitting room capture precise measurements, generating a detailed 3D image of the user. The interface is designed for ease of use, featuring an intuitive layout, a countdown timer, and alerts to notify users before each scan.
